This is me.

My name is German Butze aka Aope.
I grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México in the early 90s, raised by a family of artists that inspired me to become one.

NotAnimated started in 2016, after graduating from Digital Arts, Animation and Multimedia school in Mexico, as my personal but also virtual brand, creating small animations combined with real-life footage (hence the name NotAnimated - Digital characters living in our world as if they were, not animated). Throughout the years I have shared my work on Instagram and YouTube, then transitioned to Twitch streaming game plays and my workflow as an animator/game developer. So yeah, everything you see here is made and created by me :)

I’ve been a collector for as long as I can remember. As I grew up I discovered the world of art/designer toys, and I went all in. Later in life, I was able to mix my work and love for video games, animation, and art with this hobby. That’s how the prototype of the design and idea for Game Buddy was created. I would love to keep expanding this idea, making a full-production high-quality collectible in the near future and maybe, one day, bring it to “life” thanks to the advancements of AI.

In 2020 I got into The Sandbox Game, Game Maker Fund to create a world inside a piece of virtual land. Dystopia and Wizards Of The Blockchain were created after this. Ever since I’ve been expanding and creating my universe of characters and stories in this new industry that keeps evolving thanks to blockchain technology.
As a developer, I see the possibility of being able to expand my gameplay mechanics, rewards, achievements, progression, etc. that players earn or collect from all of my games and connect them all into a single universe. Creating new lasting experiences and giving more sense of immersion into these worlds.

So here you have it, a site that has everything I am and the reason I enjoy so much living in this amazing and everything possible, world.
